The information below is also available by calling the City of Mason hotline at 513-229-8502.

Passenger Drop-Off
To help event-goers with blankets, coolers, and young children, drivers may drop off passengers and gear close to the park by entering Nixon Park Drive across from the entrance to Mason Intermediate School. The drop-off area is on Foxfield Drive adjacent to Lou Eves Municipal Pool and will be available until 10:15 p.m. Drivers must stay in their cars at the drop-off area. Nixon Park Drive will be closed at 10:15 p.m. and will be one way, out only, after the fireworks. Due to the pedestrian traffic after the event, we regret that there will be no pickup available at this location.

Parking and Shuttle Buses
Parking will be available at several locations in the city. There is limited parking available near the park. There is no parking available at Corwin M. Nixon Park. Some of the parking behind Mason High School is reserved for those with handicap, vendor, or VIP placards and for the shuttle buses. There is no parking at the adjoining Pine Hill Lakes Park, which will be closed all day on July 3.

Handicap parking with a valid placard is available for Red, Rhythm & BOOM at the parking lot for Lou Eves Municipal Pool.

Free shuttle buses for Red, Rhythm & Boom will be provided from several locations. Due to construction on the community campus, there is limited parking available near the park. There is no general parking AT the park.

Traffic
On July 3, Nixon Park Drive will be one way (in only) until it closes at 10:15 p.m. Foxfield Drive will be one way, out only, between Nixon Park Drive and Lakeside Drive on the Community Campus.

At 10:15 p.m., Mason-Montgomery Road will be closed to incoming traffic between Tylersville Road and Main Street. Also beginning at 10:15 p.m., all traffic exiting the Community Campus via Nixon Park Drive and Lakeside Drive must turn left to go south on Mason-Montgomery toward Tylersville Road. All traffic exiting via Foxfield Drive must turn right to go north on Mason-Montgomery toward Main Street.

Residents who live off of the closed section of Mason-Montgomery Road (in Lakeside, Laurel Court, and Lexington Square) may return home from Main Street only, and must show an ID to enter.

Due to construction and the number of attendees at the event, delays are to be expected. We appreciate your patience when entering and exiting the park for this community event.
