Warren County is “Ohio’s Largest Playground” and Mason is the anchor. Come to Mason and stay for the fun! Regional attractions include the Golf Center at Kings Island, Great Wolf Lodge and Conference Center, Kings Island amusement park, and the annual Western & Southern Open. Local attractions include the Mason Community Center and Mason Historical Society’s Alverta Green Museum. Residents and visitors look forward to the annual Mason Heritage Festival, Christmas in Mason, and a wide variety of classes and events for all ages at Mason Community Center.

Week of May 14 construction update:

  • Mason-Morrow-Millgrove Road between Mason Sports Park and the Mason Water Reclamation Plant should be open by the end of the week, weather permitting.

  • Paving is expected this week on US 42/Reading Road between Snider and Western Row Roads. The focus will soon shift to the segment between Snider and Tylersville. Work on the bike path between Castle Drive and Tylersville will continue through the summer. The final course of asphalt and landscape restoration will occur in the fall. Work continues outside the city between Butler-Warren and Fields-Ertel.

  • ODOT will begin milling and paving on State Route 741 on May 21.
